Create Feeder Point

Ribbon: Track-side Design > Feeder

Feeder points are created either automatically with a feeder or manually. You need manual creation, if the feeder changes the track side or if the holder should be integrated into the run of the feeder.

Create Feeder Point With/Without Cross-Arm

Intention

Create a feeder point.

Instructions
  1. Run the Create Feeder Point function.
  2. Select the holder (e.g. mast) where the feeder point should be attached to.
  3. Select the feeder where the feeder point should be attached to.
  4. Enter the position for the feeder point, i. e. nearby or directly on the holder.

Result

OpenRail Overhead Line Designer creates the feeder point and saves the associated data in the project database. The graphic will be updated automatically.

With this function, you can manually attach a feeder point with cross-arm to a holder.
